>> I couldn't use my back arrow to leave the CNET site<<

Same thing happened to me. Don't have a clue why.

Surprise, when I can't get back, I rapid click and it will work. I am using Netscape right now. I just tried it, I couldn't get back until I rapid clicked it, then it worked.

OT:
That is because the link gets automatically redirected to another page in the CNET site. So when you click the back button, it takes you only to the automatic redirection page which promptly redirects you back to the article page. To go back before the redirection page use the <Go> menu (in Netscape) and select the page you want from the list. Alternate method: If you click the back button and do not release, you will see a history. Select the page you want from the list. In Explorer the equivalent would be clicking on the small triangle near the back button which gives you a list. Rapid clicks on the back button will also work, but that may not be useful in case of multiple redirections by the link.

CNET did some redirection thing which caused two URLs to be added to your history. If you hold down the back button in Netscape Navigator, you can go back two items to SI.

There's similar functionality in Internet Explorer.
