I totally disagree. As old world businesses transition to doing a lot of business on the web they need people who have experience building the infrastructure. They don't have the time to do it themselves. Why do you think Wal MArt went with Broadvision ? Sure all these companies won't be winners but at this stage of the game the money is going to all players and as the winners emerge the money is going to shift to them.
