N squiggle, Looks like the online version of the magazine at www.skeptic.com isn't free, but must be purchased. Thanks for posting the excerpts. Ha, that's because I fooled you and the article was not in Skeptic magazine, but in the Skeptical Inquirer. I never thought to look for a website. It would have saved me a lot of typing.
