ERP = Enterprise Resource Planning, the upgrade from the old MRP. Sap is the largest ERP, then Oracle then psft. The internet really killed these erps for a lot of reasons but I didn't know that bvsn was actually capable of developing a simple order management system... I don't know whats in bvsn. Order management/retail over the web is so huge I can't see why bvsn can't grow to Sap's level if they truly do displace some of that functionality... I didn't know they did that, I'm checking.
