Harold S.,
"the big boys, are studying links like the one I provided while the small guys are watching The Weather Channel for when to sell their stocks. Not agree?"

Agreed Harold and I am sure they can afford a better weather prognosticator than I, after all I am just a lucky amateur and no meterologist or climatoligist.
The best I can do, IMHO, is to state as I posted to JOHN, that if Dr Dewpoint assessment of the current climate outlook is correct, then our chances of an average winter mean colder than normal in the appropriate winter energy use areas of the nation depends a lot on the North Atlantic Oscillation.
According to this link, we are negative as of August and heading down, as opposed to highly positive last year, as the good Dr mentioned. The climate consequences would look favorable at this time.

My my, I hope that link works!

Edit, guess not, oh well, cut and paste heaven.
