Interesting. I guess I've always had a bit of trouble justifying "trading" around a position, but I see your point.

I guess the confusion comes from the fact that I bought i2 as a value play last fall when it was in the low teens. Here was a company, growing sales at 50%+ when the rest of the ERP companies were weak, and I decided to put a small stake in.

Now, one year later, and it has gone from a small stake to my largest postion. All of a sudden, i2 decisions have significant ramifications on my entire portfolio.
