I don't short internet stocks. I am content to make money long the best companies on the internet and let others short. Besides, I am looking for huge winners, not 50% returns. I think INKT is overvalued but so what, I refuse to fight a trend as powerful as the internet.

By the way, AMZN is a tough nut to crack but I am nervously long AMZN. They are a clear leader in owning customers (12-13mm) and the stock value rests entirely on their ability to figure out how to monetize that extremely valuable asset - 16mm customers by December. AMZN has a lot of work to do and could fail but, for now anyway, I am a believer in Jeff Bezos and the people he has hired. For all his stubborn detractors, nobody can refute the success of AMZN thus far in terms of revenue and customer growth. This quarterly report will be interesting. Bezos gets it and he has been proven a true visionary thus far. The question is can he keep executing - my thought is, the trend is your friend. AMZN stock cannot be valued because the true leverage in the story might not come until mid-2000 or later when Jeff figures out another leg to the story.
