You should get a prize for just coming on the thread. Win or loose, I deeply appreciated your participation in my guess-off. That alone is worth more than any venerable title; in case you haven't figured it out, I not giving up my title for tears. At first glance, I thought you did win since the first rev number reported was $3.1 million. You can't imagine my despair. The thought of having lost to Grasshopper by a mere $50,000. I knew I shouldn't have picked a number with three digits; ie, $3.35 million. The only way I'll surrender my title is for "Tork" Johnson to come on-line and tell us how many messages Messagemedia averages per day. He could justify giving you the title by excluding pro-form earnings. Tit for Tat and all that! In stead, I'll console you with the thoughts that were running through my head when I thought I had lost, "there's always next quarter". To tell the truth, I was worried that a couple of Yahooeys would come on and straddle me with $3.3 and $3.4. That would have really shut me up; but as time went on, it became apparent that not only do they lack original ideas, they wouldn't know what to do with one if they had it. Ouch! that cuts... Now stop bothering me, I working on my acceptance speech!
