Edwarda, the point I think is that at the moment some of us feel we don't want to hear the name "Reagan" ever again: it is associated with too much unpleasantness (not Reagan's fault, of course). I should think everyone would sense that, and would avoid the topic until the unpleasantness has been forgotten.
