Good point. So far, I haven't seen any RCC chipset that supports AGP-4x. But even I will admit that RCC's chipset could possibly represent a better price/performance solution than 840. I just think that it's rather remarkable that Micron thinks the performance of the 840 is well worth the higher price tag of the chipset and the RDRAM.
