Montgomery Securities RAISED their 1999 est to $1.17. they have a $30 target. First Union raised their 1999 est. also to $1.17 and left 2000 at a measly $1.70. Merrill still has $27 target, with eps estimates of $1.17 & $1.75 for next year. Robertson Stephens @ $1.19 & $1.70, with a $28 target. Stephens is at $1.17 & $1.73. Next year's numbers ASSUME a slowdown in new car sales and no acquisitions beyond those already announced. Nobody likes it at $10, but they'll love it at $20 - just human psychology.
