<<do we cover the short and go long at this point>>
what rationale could anyone possibly have for going long on SRCM? This deal only adds about $1 per share to the till, and the stock is already up about a dollar on the news. They aren't even allowed to spend half the money because they have to pay interest with it. The rest of the money won't even cover a years operating losses. The losses have been mounting, and accelerating. The founders skipped out with millions. The debt has recently been downgraded. The "story" has grown old and stale. SRCM has been passed up by the technology parade. There is better technology elsewhere that is backed by reputable business.

<<I will chalk SRCM up to my list of horrible shorts>>
Surely you aren't going to give up now! Why, Rome wasn't destroyed in a day, my friend. SRCM management has been working hard and long to drive this sucker into the ground. You have allow time for the seeds they have so laboriously planted to rot in the ground.

regards,
Harpo

Rule #1 never go long a POS, at the worst box it.
