I have no idea how many IPO shares WIT will distribute. I am talking on average...ETRADE and WITC usually allot 100 shares of any given IPO.

I have never seen 170,000,000 shares offered for an IPO, therefore, all the brokerages may give out many, many more shares than usual.

Because of this large amount of shares many people at the WITC thread do not want to take this IPO. They must hold IPO shares for 60 days...and they feel the payoff will NOT be there to hold these shares for 60 days. The consensus is Charter will not be able to have a decent pop because of the enormous amount of shares being offered.
And since people are declining to submit a conditional offer...you may be able to buy a whole bunch of IPO shares of Charter.

This is not the norm on most IPO's. Most IPO's offer an average of 4 to 5 million shares...which makes getting any IPO shares quite difficult.

Conclusion: 170,000,000 shares offered and lack of interest from IPO hunters = more shares available to allot. So the limit of 100 may not be necessary for Charter IPO!
