RE <<Maybe it was someone else. But you are definitely not an unbiased guy, considering how 99% of your posts are down on INTC and up on AMD.>>>

Ten, I know that you don't believe me but before I came on the thread all I knew about intc is that it was the main semi and was one of the Naz component stocks. Since I have been an AMD investor, I still have no strong feelings about the company other than it appears to me stuck and not moving in the direction it needs to be going.

But when I first came on this thread, the prevailing views were that intc was this incredible company that could do no wrong and of course, AMD was presented as its exact opposite, a major loser. From what I can tell these views were created and perpetrated by the intc longs. And it seemed that most AMD posters accepted the intc longs' views of the two companies.

So if I have a bias at all towards intc, it is directed at the intc imagined and created by the intc longs and not the real company. The truth is trading stocks is fun for me and provides me with an income. I may 'like' certain stocks because of their price action but I don't like them in the way I may like the Mariners or the Seahawks. I also find AMD's efforts to turn itself around compelling. My negative posts re intc....only to maintain a balance of reasonableness. I find the most interesting moments on this thread to be those where the two 'sides' are talking tech and the bs has been laid aside. Its the time where I can learn more about the technical side of pcs.

RE <<<Far worse than a bias is the mentality and attitude of the some of the intc posters which permits them to realize such great pleasure at denigrating and humiliating others. In a word its sick. If anything concerns you, it should be that. Why doesn't it?>

Because sometimes I have the same problem with some extremely rabid AMD fans. It goes both ways.>>>

Yes, (and this may be where I have a bias) it appears that the intc longs post abrasively, seemingly trying to provoke a reaction and the AMD respond in like kind...although this is less true in the last couple of months as AMD posters seem less intimidated. I think most AMD posters here treat you fairly well but the reverse is not true......were you to spend more time on this side I think you would see it more clearly. Then again, maybe not.
