The start of the exchange was lurqer's post #46137. He talked about how msft and csco influence the "cabals", which I took to mean the analysts and houses that influence those companies stock prices. Lurqer contended that Q had no market smarts, and I took the contrary position. My ending post was that Q's management team was smart enough to influence the "cabal", by which I meant the WS analysts and houses.

I have the utmost respect for the management teams at Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Cisco. Their astuteness is one of the reasons I invest in those companies.
