MM is a pretty cool guy. He does a lot of good stuff around here. He's a UT grad and lives here now. He grew up in Uvalde, Tx. Ever heard of the movie "Hands on a Hardbody"? There was a mom who was in the contest, which is held in Longview, to win a van for her handicapped child. She didn't win...he bought her the van when he heard her story--with the stipulation that she not tell who did it for her. Unfortunately he's been telling all his Hollywood pals about Austin and they're buying 2nd or 3rd houses here. Cops showed up because of a noise complaint at 2:30a.m. and saw him inside naked..couldn't get his attention and they saw a bong on the table so they went on in. The Judge , a woman, said "It isn't illegal to have a bong on your coffee table..Not probable cause." He'll probably walk...No drug charges were filed. Even his neighbors said the cops were being rude and too rough. People in that neighborhood aren't prone to fantasy when it comes to cops. He is one of the good guys..too bad most of his movies suck. As far as Mafu..Legalize it..I've been saying it all my life. I'll say it in a room full of conservative types and I'll say it here. Legalize it Hopefully it will happen someday. The sooner the better.
