Lucky, I would really like to know being that you say you have no children, how you are making this assumption about the "kids you know" How do you know these "kids" how many are we speaking of, 10 local kids that just started the indoor soccer season?? or 100 kids that are now more interested in the hockey season?? or are we talking a school district worth of "kids that YOU know"...maybe even a Cities worth of children. To make such a broad statement about "the kids you know" is absurd. There is not bases there for anyone to apply that statement to the population. I on the other hand have 4 elementary aged children. I think they go to sleep at night with their pokemon cards in their hands. Spend their afternoons discussing which card trades they are going to make and how much each card is worth. (I think it is actually pre-market trading training that they are doing!) I know also that to find the cards in any of the near by towns, ( stores which have a two week wait period for shipments...) is the luck of the draw.....Timing...being in the right store at the right time. If not, guess you will just have to wait for the next shipment. This also not an gender related craze.....both boys and girls are equally interested. Neenny..... mother of 4 pokemon fanatics.
