Let me add one more thing about ebay and "growth stocks".

Let's suppose that next quarter, ebay were to sell one bubble gum for each share they have outstanding.
They pay 1 cent for the gum and sell it for 2 cents, for a 1 cent per bubble gum / share profit.

That would instantly increase their quarterly earnings to
>>> 2 cents per share <<< or a 100% earnings increase.

The street would go wild, analysts would rejoice, the stock would soar.........
And next quarter they could diversify into Jelly Beans........

hahahahahaha......
