Sharif to face 'High Treason' and 'Sedition' charges-Damn another hanging in the offing? Sharif and Ziauddin, the former chief of ISI will be the first ones to be tried and put to death. It appears to be a forgone conclusion. Keeping them alive will be dangerous to Musharaff himself. Exile is not an option for Sharif and Ziauddin. Death will be considered as a final solution. Sharif's son is asking Vajpayee and President clinton to intervene on behalf of his father. I know that President Clinton has put in a word. If Vajpayee says anything about the trial of Sharif, that may be considered as intervention in the internal affairs of the country. But on the other hand this will be a call for mercy.

Mohan: Are you familiar with a Political commentator in INDIA ABROAD, by name Praful BIDWAI. 102999 PAGE 2 He paints pretty bleak picture about nuclear pakistan. He says that the paki generals can plot against each other ( eg:Ziauddin vs Mussharaff), overthrow elected Govts and pull the nuclear trigger. This Praful guy says that Indians should put aside invoking cross-border terrorism to get Washington's attention, not to poopoo pak withdrawal, & hold unconditional talks with pakis. He characterizes BJP as ISLAMOPHOBE. He said exactly what DIPY has been saying all along on many issues. He sounds like a DIPY CLONE, at least in his views. Check it out.
