<who cares about revenues in the new era>

I suppose only those who believe in buying quality companies (i.e. investing in common stocks) at fair or below fair market value based on what has worked for 100 years of investing .... Fundamental analysis.

I don't think EBAY is a bad company, just a little over priced ... well maybe a lot over priced. But as always, its what the market perceives as to what fair value is. I just happen to be one investor who happens to think Ebay and many other higher growth companies are over valued.

What is reasonable? That I'm not sure of, but for me, it's not $150 a share. And if I'm wrong .... I'm wrong! Wouldn't be the first time!

REVENUE growth will slow down, and then it will matter a great deal especially in relation to Market Capitalization.
And maybe down 10+ in after hours means the general market is starting to feel that way about Ebay at the $150 range.
