taxman: Thanks for the heads up on Expedia. By the way someone on another board said the price of gold had slipped below 290. If so the great gold rush is ending faster than it began. I guess the gold bugs don't believe inflation is lurking. Anybody know where (what URL) useful in tracking gold price? JFD

Taxman Huge News!! MSFT plans to keep 86.4% of Expedia with this IPO ?!
Looks like they want to reap the profits from the IPO and make sure that they maintains almost total control of Expedia. I can't wait to see how investors react to this IPO. If it works, hats off to MSFT. Very interesting.
But for MSFT to be down on the day that they are added to the Dow 30 is crazy.Doesn't make sense to me. IMO.
