Q: If there was a rush on the banks to the level of depletion, would the dollar drop? I'm remembering some months ago a poster calculated that the banks only retained 1+% of deposits. A letter writer came up with the same approx. figure. This no doubt is why the Gov. has to lend them money in the case of a rush. Back to the Q:, if the dollar drops will gold go up? Let's see now, how could we start a rush, gggg, this could be fun.
