Yes, it is good prognosis for parts of India. Indian companies (whether government or private) are not professionally managed. So any change is a change for the better. But bear in mind that the US has been very selective about which parts of India to invest in.

And no, I didn't say the chances of disintegration are less. In fact they are higher now. Because once these changes start, the already backward states will fall back even further, and the states that have moved forward will have little or no incentive in hanging together with the backward ones (in fact, there will be a lot of disincentive for the advanced states in hanging together with the primitive ones).
