I didn't say you agree with him. When I said, "one of you", I meant Mr. Bidwai, not you.

You heard about MFHusain paint Goddess Saraswathi without Alankar. Now hear about paintings of Krishna and Ganesha by another India born painter (Born in Calcutta). The exhibit was shown in Atlantic Gallery in NYC. He describes himself as IndoFrench painter. The name is Sakti Burman. Does it ring a bell??? He has moved to France. His paintings adorn national Gallery, Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Musee de la ville paris, National Museum NZ.
My notes: an untrained eye:
Ganapathy painting depicts an intricately designed fully clothed European looking not-so-corpulent Buddha holding a tender sinuous tree limb with a parrot perched on it. A very elaborate, intricately painted head gear, which is a fusion product between the head gear of the MOTLEY FOOLS and the mitre , & a background of flowers give an impression of Islamic-European-Indian influence.
