I think you're right. It's just too good (funny, weird) to be true.

Ukoad a forgery? One thing does make me VERY suspicious: there have now been over 16,000 hits on that page -- approximately 3,000 more than when I last looked at it, around 9:00 p.m. Come on -- how many "help, I need a girl/guy" want ads get that kind of attention?

It could be a forgery; or our boy is simply becoming a cult figure,as his cri de coeur is e-mailed all over the globe by everyone who has ever viewed it (including denizens of this thread).

Another thing is also odd (and perhaps suspicious): he does not give any name, not even his first name. Someone as open about other
personal details -- his enstrumens, his height, the color of his
eyes, the sports he plays, (but NOT his job, hmmm...) etc. -- would probably say something like: "Hi! I am Enver, and I kiss you!"

Otherwise, I don't see anything "phony" about it. The guy knows some English (he says he knows "Turkish, English, and Rusian [sic]" on his page); he is just brash & innocent enough to think he can write it. And those "translators" would produce an even MORE incomprehensible (if better spelt) text. In other words, maybe he is at least smart enough to know better than to use one.

Joan

I'm glad I took the time to look in when I got home tonight. Oscar would be proud. Be there any compliment, greater?

Lest you take that for backslapping, it's not, o evil one.

Who the heck is the Red Queen. One feels lost when one knows not the source of the metaphor. Is she related to the Black Madonna? Or the Purple-People Eater?
