Hi UnGle FranQ,

I have not followed VISX as much as of late. I know there is a laser company out of Japan (I believe) that is suing VISX to allow them to bring in their laser to compete. I will research this more tomorrow and file a more complete report then. I have several friends who are Lasik specialists and I will call them also.

From Briefing.com

"Briefing.com applauds Dow's decision to update index to more adequately reflect technology sector's increased importance in today's economy... However, choice of Intel over Cisco (CSCO 67 1/4 +3/4) shows that Dow Jones & Co. still looking backward more than forward... As for Microsoft, well it is Microsoft - the biggest company in the world (in terms of market cap)... But even here, Briefing.com suspects best days behind software giant as it is very early stage of transition period where growth is likely to be less reliable than in the past... Personally, Briefing.com would have preferred to see either America Online (AOL), Yahoo! (YHOO) or Qualcomm (QCOM) added - not that anyone asked."

God, just imagine--the Mighty Q on the Dow--would that be hysterical or what? Pretty forward looking of Briefing.com, if you ask me...
