Dont think percent for the DOW think price , it's price weighted
and if you move any price ( or cap ) stock $1 the index moves about $5 no matter the percent the smaller the market cap of a stock the ( the smaller the float to price ) and it's easier it is to move it up or down a dollar.
If the Naz were weighted like the DOW it would be doing
flip flops you wouldn't even belive.
