according to Yahoo! Finance, the last reported numbers for ISLD are

Shares Outstanding 34.9 M
Float 6.9 M

Institutional ownership is not usually considered float. However, the numbers aren't reported day-to-day so actual float is probably higher that 6.9M now. I suspect that there has been at least a little institutional pealing back in this recent run-up.

Also, (i haven't done my homework here) I believe the total shares number is low now too. Wasn't the Sandpiper deal dilutive?

Yes the Float is stiill the same amount but what is actully tradeable is a lot less :)
