Will Earthlink improve service? I used to be with Netcom, but ever since they were purchased by Mindspring the available bandwidth has dropped to the 300-1200 baud range. Downloading pages on SI or Yahoo takes forever. I get around it by having about 4-6 windows open at a time so that 3-5 other pages can ve downloading while I type or read. Even as I type this I note at one Yahoo page is currently downloading at 87 bytes/second while another is loading at 754 bytes/second. I know one thing, Earthlink can't be any worse. Carl
