JFD, The report on MSFT by Goldman Sachs also explains why it did not close higher. Lower than expected bookings on Office2k is the reason cited-----Sherlund said the same thing prior to the earnings release.

The important factor to look at is the way MSFT told analysts to raise earnings for this quarter up to 43cents.

Should create buying opportunities in both MSFT and INTEL and i needed them. Might cause a delay in the move upward in both stocks.
