I believe the red queen (as well as pretty much all fairy tale characters) was based on the actual character Mary Tudor, Lizzie's younger sister, aka "bloody mary", who married a Spaniard and thus declared england catholic and proceeded to kill all the anglicans.

What with humpty dumpty and all those fables I might have it mixed up but I think the red queen was Mary.

So those calling you a heretic are a bit off... it was Elizabeth who was the heretic.
