An investment of up to an additional $10 million into TiS, as well as up to an additional $25 million (for an aggregate investment of up to $50 million) into TiS, into a subsidiary of TiS or into a company to be owned by Charterhouse will be determined on the basis of a business plan that Top Image and Charterhouse will jointly develop, and will be subject to the further approval of Charterhouse and the Company. More at: tis.co.il <http://www.tis.co.il/pages/press6.html> ---- (3) Sumitomo Marine & Fire Insurance of Japan Choose TiS Sumitomo Marine & Fire Insurance, one of the largest insurance companies in Japan, with over 60,000 domestic agencies, has chosen TiS' award-winning AFPSPRO . Toyo Ink, the Exclusive Distributor of TiS products in Japan collaborated with IBM Japan for this project. The forms will then be sent via the network to four processing centers located in Tokyo, Osaka, Hachioji and Sanda. The project is due to begin June 2000. Using AFPSPRO's Dynamic Workflow, thousands of customer service applications and approval forms will be scanned daily at dozens of remote sites across the country. and The scanned images will be sent, via the Internet, to two processing centers. TiS' AFPSPRO's unique technology will recognize both printed and handwritten Hebrew characters. Automating the forms processing will decrease the processing time from approximately seven minutes to less than one minute, enabling YES to channel expensive valuable resources elsewhere. The system will also automatically generate personalized letters to clients, improving customer response time and service. We'd like to introduce you to: Mr. Norman Kreger, Director of Marketing Mr. Ariel Veinstein, Director of Worldwide Sales Norman Kreger joins TiS as Director of Marketing where he is responsible for the company's marketing activities worldwide including channel development, public relations, product management and trade shows. Born in Canada, Norman brings with him 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and product management. Norman has worked in a variety of hi-tech industries including telecommunications, internet, graphics and digital color printing and project consulting. Ariel Veinstein is responsible for increasing TiS' reach into international markets as well as the further development of key customer accounts.
