Luther- the market is still nervous about this stock....even mentioning the word "accounting irregularities" is a definite no-no (in a nervous market).........

The Tice report is unremarkable is the lack of follow-up (by those who follow these things)...no analysts have downgraded...no other major bears (I've seen) are tooting the Tyco horn....Nothing else has come out...(I exclude the BW article, no new info there...it made sense that someone would write about it after the reaction to Tice's report...importantly, no new info there I could see...)

Yes, I guess there is a chance that longs are wrong (there always is).......but, if we are right, there is tremendous upside in this issue....Look at the cash Tyco generates (3B+) in this fiscal year.....How could there be major accounting irregularities with that kind of cash flow???

Give it another month...if it can't rally (and the market does)..then cut your losses (if you are still nervous)....surely, by then, if there is something to this Tice nonsense (which I doubt), it will play itself out...Even if the stock is dead a month from now, I will be adding (not selling)...

In fact, a couple more days of this, and I will be jumping in (long) even more...

Luther, I think its the perception that investor have, i.e. the company is too aggressive in their acquisitions, too aggressive in their accounting, too many similarities with CD. Just my hunch. I'm short again.
