Matt,

Personal opinion from talking to many index traders: ignore the night sessions and build your chart off any gaps that appear due to that action.

We have a similar issue coming as after hour trading becomes more popular here.

Night vs. Day session...

A lot of traders use the Globex high and low as pivot points. I occasionally look at "night action" but don't bother to use the data. My trading horizon is pretty short and since I don't use indicators, it has not been a problem.
