OX,

Oh yes, live TV is certainly no picnic for those not used to it! It's sort of like doing your first school play leading role...
I remember the first time a microphone and camera were stuck in my bear face <g> at the ripe old age of about seven years old on the Asbury Park, NJ boardwalk about 40 years ago (it was for some Navy newsreel film), and even though I did'nt freeze up completely, the words were not coming out very easily... Then there was my first school play where I played one of the leading roles as a doctor and had to give a speech at the podium in front of all those parents and friends, and that was like "live TV" all the way!! After that came the "Disco Teen" live TV shows starring Zacherly (an appropriate figure for Halloween season here), where my high school classmates would dance to the music, and sometimes be interviewed by Zach live on cam. And after that, my work with some of New Jersey's top rock bands (in the 1970's), and some top international bands (early 1980's), gave me even more experience in dealing with "live" situations, so I have some idea... It ain't always easy, that's for sure... Even calling in to the top radio talk shows can be somewhat nerve wracking at times, as a certain friend who is a "star" on a top New York radio show now knows... Yogi
