Sonki. If you read my prev. post to Yaacov. Intel was downgraded by SSB and Dell was talked about negatively by H&Q.

Here is an article on CPQ by Marketwatch.

Sonki. Interesting article on MCI. Added some Intel and Amzn articles.

Did you watch the Town Hall meeting from the 2 D's that "wanna be President"?

Questions were about Health, Education, Environment and Campaign finance.

A cpl of things stuck in my mind.

1. Al Gore was asked what may have been his biggest political mistake. Answer something like: Hmmmmm, there were so many. But right of the top of my head I would say it was my statement about being the Father of the Internet.
He thought he may have overstated that a bit.
Nooooooo! Well, maybe. I guess he read the stuff written on the internet about that. gg.

2. Al Gore on 3 people going to Heaven.

The first person was asked what he did on earth. Answer: Oh, I helped many people, I was a Doctor.
Alright, come right on in.

The second person was asked what he did on earth. Answer: Oh, I helped many people. I was a Teacher all my life.
Alright, come right on in.

The third person was asked what he did on earth. Answer a bit sheepish: Oh, I was in charge of an HMO.
Hmmm. Alright, come on in but just remember that you can stay only for 3 days.

Mr. Bradley was asked why he left the Senate after being in Politics for 18 years. He said that he needed to get out there and listen to people outside of Washington and now after 2 years he was ready to lead the country.

Hm. Another listening tour. You would think with all this time in basketball and politics he would have listened enough. gg.

Tomorrow the R's get their turn.

Let's hope that Amzn does not mess up the markets tomorrow. Earnings were pretty good but now we are worrying about margins and making money. I remember the CEO saying forever that he was building all the infrastructure he could before worrying about being profitable. Didn't those analysts listen before? But I guess after EBAY they wanted to make sure AMZN was not left out.

Intel.

PS. Here is an article I just read on Amzn. Bezos telling analysts what is his priority. I guess it is not the analysts priority.
