Bob and Thread, I don't mean to be trite or sound ridiculous, but if I had the great fortune of possessing unlimited financial resources I would write out a personal check today to Eli Harari for $200 million dollars (interest free) for a handshake and a confident look in the eye. I would also request the option to convert the promissory note to 3 million shares (split adjusted) of SanDisk sometime within the next three years. I would write the check without reservation because I believe in the company, the company's innovations, the intellectual power of the engineering/R&D teams and the great potential of the markets SanDisk has targeted. The promise of this company greatly overshadows much of the hype surrounding new internet-based upstarts. Where are the private investors with the enough technical expertise to understand the relevance of the company??? Where are the corporate partners with the financial power to help underwrite this company??? I think the fact that we may have to struggle through a secondary offering is unfortunate.
