Computer Shopper's most recent issue has an article on the 820 chip and Rambus - although their deadlines are probably months before publication.

Believe I read a Bloomberg article which felt there is a strong correlation between the volatility index (see link), stockholder sentiment, and likely direction of the market. Think the upshot was lower vix number = more positive future stock market movement (from long perspective). tim

Well, that's a pretty tight architecture :-)

But I remember when DIP RAMs were 1024 bytes,
and I've used microcontrollers with 128 bytes in 'em.
Ya gotta do a lot of bit banging in those designs!
