<<Everything's just thrown out of whack thanks to Y2K fears, inflation, Greenspan, that Camino delay, Taiwanese earthquakes, BX/ZX chipset shortage, Athlon motherboards, and anything else that my overworked memory can't recall.>>

Speaking of Athlon motherboards......here's someone else with the ASUS in stock:

They've also got a nice bundle...the FIC SD-11 plus 500mhz Athlon for $399.95 with free shipping:

I GUESS THIS PRETTY ANSWERS MY QUESTIONS:

_____________________________________________________________________
Intel Corp. (INTC) fell 1 11/16, or 2.8 percent, to 58 after analyst Charles Glavin at Credit Suisse First Boston lowered his earnings forecast on the No. 1 semiconductor maker. Intel's second-quarter profit should be about 53 cents a share, the bottom of the range that the company has guided analysts to, because of lower prices for chips and lower shipments, said Glavin, who rates the stock a ''buy.'' Intel's new Coppermine chip will be delayed to November from September, Glavin said. He cut his 1999 profit estimate to $2.25 from $2.32 and his 2000 forecast to $2.55 from $2.65.

NOTE WHERE THE ANALYST SAYS THAT THE CUMINE WILL BE DELAYED UNTIL NOVEMBER.

I WONDER IF THERE WILL BE A MGMT SHAKEUP AT INTC?
