If anyone is interested in learning more about specific derivative types the FASB has posted a document on its website that discusses different types of derivatives.

Hi Don,

There were some good articles in the Wall Street Journal in the weeks following the problems. I don't remember one in specific but I know they picked up on a number of the internal control and transparency issues. Also a lot of the stuff I learned was from friends in the business who would talk about what was happening at their firms.
