You are right about the inut stocks are highly volatile. Two things though: 1. AOL is more than an inut stock. 2. Being highly volatile also means that it can go very high up from here.

By trying to time the market, you would have missed a (potentially) good opportunity here. AOL is still way below its all time high at 175. I have a somewhat bearish view of the market right now and that's why I still have about 35% of my portfolio in cash. Still AOL looks very attracting at this price. I will buy even more if there is a major market correction. What I am trying to do is to spread out AOL at different prices so I can do trading as well as long term investing.
