We missed something. Way back on May 12, when Mastercard announced its MULTOS pilot with a biometric option, this sentence was included in the Business Wire release. "Identicator Technology has also placed its popular BioLogon 2.0 and BioCard 2.0 onto the MULTOS smart card; a biometric profile (fingerprints) is stored and used to confirm identity when matched with a biometric reader." Maybe it was a buggy beta version, but there is the archaeological proof that 2.0 has been out in the world for a while now.
