Fed gov Mcdonough(sp?) gave the market it's impetus when he declared
the market was wrong that the fed was "behind the curve" on rates.
His speech was right before the run-up.

From 1276 @ 10PM last night on globex to 1308 just before close tonight (32 S&P points) seems like a large steady and prolonged move for short covering. Don't you think it is possible we have found a bottom yet? We've been waiting on the bond and the dollar (both of which seem to have turned the corner).
