You can check out Hatim Zaghloul (the CEO of Wi-Lan) on the SI Wi-lan board as he posts from time to time. Very helpful fella and smart as a whip.

Here's his profile

Stephen , Slacker, All One good place to start for
info on W-OFDM , the IEE811 standard that was created
for it, and their 30 Megabit product is as follows -
wi-lan.com

You may want to back up to their home page and proceed
from there.
Hatim was one of the two inventors of W-OFDM and has
some technical documents posted on the site.

Philips has partnered with Wi-Lan, so there are some
very good documents on their site. (Philips will also
build ASICS, using W-OFDM technology.
The next product / ASIC will be a 100 Megabit version,
with a usable speed of approximately 90 Megabits, after
overhead has been accounted for.

Another Philips link is www-us.semiconductors.philips.com

Note that this explains their joint IEEE 1394 and WOFDM
effort.

Many posts to look at on the SI Wi-Lan thread.
Also you may stockhouse.com
There - you may search for "C.WIN" while Wi-Lan is still
on the Alberta stock exchange.

Tomorrow should be "big time" for Wi-Lan , as they are
scheduled to go onto the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Then, when events allow it, they intend to go onto the
NASDAQ.
(Hatim is cautious, as well as intelligent, and does not
want his company to be an "orphan" on the NASDAQ )

I am one of the few folks from the USA who have holdings
in Wi-Lan. (It's a pain to purchase them, but it has
been a worthwhile experience)

Best Regards,
Mardy.
