Simple, Doc - The Athlon's performance BLEW AWAY the PIII's performance at the time.

The Athlon was CLEARLY the superior processor. Now, Coppermine is JUST faster. No blow away by any proportion.

Check out the Gamespot reivew you seem to love. Please show me Coppermine blowing away the Athlon.
