I want to apologize to you as I inadvertently hurt jlallen by answering your question. I hope you will apologize to him to- for asking the question. FOr even though we both acted innocently I believe we have wounded him in some way. I am not trying to coerce you in any way to apologize I am only suggesting it- and I wouldn't want you to think I am being at all authoritarian or bossy- it was merely a suggestion. The report is not complete. It is one sided and misleading typical X BS. First, I was one of the first to ask SI Admin for CB's reinstatement. What she did is a serious violation of TOU in most cases and since she did not know about those posts X linked when she made her attack they are really irrelevant. The real issue was her motive. I still have my doubts about the motive but, nevertheless, in my case I didn't care about her post and made the point to SI admin. I doubt that X or Cb would have done the same for me. Second, I did not provoke CB, she chimed into an argument with another person I was having late at night using a bunch of perjorative personal terms. Once again, I don't care about the insults as I have been known to use them when I lose my temper as well, but in addition to attacking me she attacked a bunch of other people including Neocon, Michael M and some others as I recall who were not present and not involved in the argument which set her off. I believe she went so far as to compare herself to Joan of Arc. There's more but I think that covers the salient points. It does well to remember there are ALWAYS at least two sides to a story and at least as many sides as there are lawyers involved in the controversy. Now I was counseled by several persons that I should step back give some space and let the whole thing blow over. Apparently, it is not to be which doesn't bother me but the I don't expect to be faulted for lowering the tone on this thread or feelies. JLA
