sunw is the only safe place to hide.......

You were shorting HWP - werent you? I assume thats why your telling us this.

Scott made a big point of saying they were taking chunks of market share from HP - it would be a little disapointing if HP actually announced "good earnings".

Sun guided revenue estimates upward for Q2 and announced a billion dollar backlog. The street knows this and thats why Sun is trading near its highs vs. HP which is getting close to 50% off its highs or Compaq, or IBM or James New Favorite Company Unisys which will probably soon announce like NCR (another company that bet its business on N-way x86 systems - and didnt Data General have an 8 way Intel Server?) that they are getting out of the hardware business.

P.S. JC, I saw that Scorsese film "Bringing out the Dead". That film sucked. That film wondered aimlessly without any purpose. Good thing you're not a movie critic.

Yeah well, your ancestors probably threw chairs at "The Rite of Spring".

Dale, it's nice to read you posting about something where you only lost $10. You might do well to spend EVERY hour the market is open, in the safety of a movie theater.

:)
