When you decide to play a sector like the "financials" do you buy the Spider Index trusts like XLF, or individual stocks? Seems like a Spider Index would be the best way to play a sector in terms or a short term trade.

There was a story this morning about Microsoft which will not be taking lightly and also I saw this about Intel working with Red Hat.

RED HAT INC late Tuesday said that INTEL CORP plans to make Red Hat Linux
software available on powerful server computers designed to run Internet Web
sites. Red Hat said Intel plans to bundle the Red Hat Linux operating system on
servers Intel is supplying to Internet Service Providers, companies that provide
Internet access to office and residential customers. Intel has launched a new
program aimed at boosting its share of the server market, which has been
dominated by Sun Microsystems Inc., whose computers use Sun's own chips
instead of Intel's. (Reuters 06:23 PM ET 10/26/99) For the full text story, see full
