OTOH, IMO it is unwise to confuse brains with losing money either. Especially when it is client's money.

I once went to traffic school to improve my insurance premia. After watching the gory details of accidents for the better part of a day, I was almost ready to give up driving.

As I have noted several times in this thread, bear market occurences have a very low probability. Lower than the risk of getting into a major accident, in fact. Yet people drive to work every day. So, why not do the same for investments and just put them on auto-pilot?
