I did not foster any impression that the information was private and in fact the note I sent to SI admin stated explicitly that I had given all who cared to find the keys to tracking me down if they wished. That statement is an outright fabrication. Not surprising coming from you Constipated Reader. I threatened to reconsider the wisdom of my decision to write SI Admin but as I had already submitted my request, any reasonable person would have noted the rhetorical nature of such a statement. I have never sought your forgiveness for anything I may have called you which was unjustified Constipated Reader. And you may take your snide attitude and place it where the sun don't shine. I've had quite enough of your bull-oney. JLA

JLA had difficulty with the server this evening, and asked me (by e-mail) to show you the post he sent to the administration:

To: webmistress@techstocks.com
From: jlallen

I post under the handle jlallen on SI. I was informed that Cobalt Blue was terminated because she posted personal information (my address and telephone number) on SI in the course of an argument we were having. Now I may not always agree with CB and in fact I don't much like her or her style, but I would not want to see her terminated over this issue. I do think what she did was wrong and I would never have done it, but the information she posted is available on line in several professional directories and I have probably in the course of my postings given anyone who really wants to know the keys to locating me. If you noticed my response to that particular post, I thanked her for the free advertising. I would respectfully ask you to reinstate her posting privileges since I am the only one who could possibly have been injured by this ill advised behavior and I really see it as no harm and no foul. (I am assuming she was terminated for the reasons I previously stated.) I hope you will act favorably upon my request. jlallen
